Days of Deepening Friendship: For the Woman Who Wants Authentic Life with God
Days of Deepening Friendship is a brand new retreat that focuses upon women's experience in knowing God. Using Scripture, meditations, stories, and written exercises, Vinita encourages women to radically rethink their approach to friendship with God and to explore the deeper regions of this very special relationship. We will work through issues of desire, hesitation, awareness, resistance, conversation, attention, engagement, and love- and do so with honesty and hope.
This retreat is designed to begin with women right where they are- with their specific histories, fears, and desires- and help them receive God's love more freely and courageously. Using the time-tested principles of Ignatian spirituality, the experience works with the whole person, exploring memory, the senses, and the imagination. Based upon the Christian faith and the stories and epople of Scripture, the materials will help retreatants take a fresh look at faith and their own process of spiritual growth.
Days of Deepening Friendship. This retreat is available in a session short enough for a morning or afternoon. It can also be developed for a span of 1 to 3 days.
